CASE STUDY : Government Mobile Facility

A complete water management system uses filtration and ozone treatment to assure the quality of the potable water and uses biological wastewater treatment programmed to provide alternate oxic and anoxic conditions. In this way, the tiny system performs better than a municipal system. The biomass digests itself. In two years of operation, no solids have been removed from the black water tank. The treated water is disinfected with ozone and stored as reuse water suitable for exterior cleaning or safely dumping on the ground.

The water system in the mobile Lab has been operational for over three years, with no complaints, and no feedbacks except success stories, etc…

MOBILIS

Isolation Ward Demonstration Unit

  • A 20 foot ISO container modified to provide a controlled environment room, an air lock, a toilet with sink and shower, and a command center.
  • The toilet and sinks are served by a complete water management system using filtration and ozone treatment to assure the quality of the potable water and using biological wastewater treatment programmed to provide alternate oxic and anoxic conditions. In this way, the tiny system performs better than a municipal system. The biomass digests itself. In two years of operation, no solids have been removed from the black water tank. The treated water is disinfected with ozone and stored as reuse water suitable for exterior cleaning or safely dumping on the ground.
  • This system has been operational for a year and a half, and was purposely left out in the parking lot in central Florida to operate during category 3 hurricanes Frances and Jeanne during the summer of 2004. The systems operated continuously during and after exposure to the full force of these major hurricanes.
